Micropigmentation, often referred to as permanent makeup or cosmetic tattooing, is a procedure that involves depositing small amounts of pigment into the skin to enhance facial features, camouflage skin imperfections or recreate the appearance of lost features.

Common applications include eyebrows, eyeliner, and lip color.

It’s also used for medical purposes, like scar camouflage or areola recreation after breast surgery. Micropigmentation is considered semi-permanent, as the pigments may fade over time.

It’s essential to choose a skilled and licensed technician for this procedure to ensure safety and satisfactory results.

Here at Kingsway Medispa, we use the following techniques:

1. Nano brows typically refer to a cosmetic tattooing technique for eyebrow enhancement. It involves using a fine needle to deposit pigments into the skin, creating natural-looking hair strokes.

2. Microblading is a modern method of PMU that allows you to enhance your natural brow shape. It involves a hand held manual tool with fine needle grouping to draw realistic hairlike strokes.

3. Powder Brows is a permanent makeup technique with a naturally pixelated and soft effect. In this relatively painless procedure, we work to shape brows and increase depth of color while focusing on a natural and enhanced look.

4. Lip Blush is a modern permanent make up cosmetic treatment that gives the effect of a tinted lip balm when healed. This process enhances your natural lip shape whilst giving them that boost, symmetry, and color!

5. Shading Eyeliner combines Lash Enhancement, Eyeliner and Shading of the eyelids to create a unique and custom look, including the cat eye effect. If you enjoy a bold, dark eyeliner and thick lashes, this procedure might be right for you.

6. Dark Lip Neutralization is a process of correcting the color pigmentation for those with cool or dark-toned lips in which we neutralize the darkness in the lips to get a desired color. Lip Blush is a separate service.

7. 3D areola tattooing is a cosmetic procedure designed to recreate the appearance of natural, three-dimensional areolas and nipples. Often sought by individuals who have undergone mastectomy or breast reconstruction, this technique uses tattooing to add depth and realism to the areola area, contributing to a more natural and aesthetically pleasing result.

8. Fine line or tiny tattoos involve using delicate and intricate designs with thin lines to create small, detailed tattoos. These designs are often subtle and discreet, allowing for a minimalist and elegant look. Fine line tattoos are popular for their simplicity and ability to convey meaningful symbols or messages in a subtle manner.
